Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Was that a shift or was the runner going? If so, **** the shift
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Clemmons, I hope.Nope, it's Mr.
umterp23 Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 well once again the shift bites you in the ass. Double play depth and guess what, 2 -0 outs. Screw the analytics Rocco!!!!! Quit the shift
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Haha odorizzi warming again
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 It’s like it’s gonna be 18, have to wait til next year and see if they get a chance to extend the streak
jud6312 Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 More bad luck for Rogers, I see.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 They better get the math team upstairs working overtime over the offseason to come up with some more equations to measure success, because they don't seem to worry much about onfield success. They did focus on bringing in guys with prior postseason experience, but that really hasn't translated to any success. They just need to figure out how to get the bats back on track, and figure out how to improve Rocco's bullpen usage.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Look at that, someone went with the pitch and hit it the other way. It'd be nice if someone other than Cruz knew how to do that. Might help not to throw on the outside part of the plate when the shift is on so it doesn't encourage the hitter to be fundamental.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 This is literally torture and I can’t turn it off
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Nope, it's Mr. I wish. Fred NEVER got rattled.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Rogers brought in to face 2 lefties: BB off an 0-2 count, RBI single. If I read one more time "but his underlying stats are GOOD!" I'm gonna climb right through this laptop and punch someone.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Kyle tucker has as many RBI as our entire team, the entire series
GameDay Provisional Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Sorry, but I feel Kepler gets too much love. Has hit above .245 one season in his whole career and 1-19 in postseason ABs. Why exactly is he not expendable? Him and Sano I think are part of the problem as guys we should mention are holding this team back in addition to the others.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 well once again the shift bites you in the ass. Double play depth and guess what, 2 -0 outs. Screw the analytics Rocco!!!!! Quit the shift The Astros have done a good job against the shift, and the Twins have utterly failed against it. Good hitters can beat shifts, it's pretty simple.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 This is like 2015 and Molitor just kept sending Perkins out, and you knew it was futile and over and what would happen. Only now it is Baldelli and Rogers, but Rogers is not even hurt.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Way to go Taylor!
JAWS33 Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Feels like groundhog's day. Bases loaded again in the first, no runs. Rocco pulling pitchers too early and another bad 9th inning
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Rogers, always great on back to back days. Who could have seen it coming?
twins_89 Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 I hope the Twins finally figure out that pitching Rogers on back-to-back days is a really bad idea.
TouchEmAllGuy Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 TouchEmAllGuy might have to retire
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 There was no need to use Rogers again today... Clippard and Wisler have had great seasons! Why not use them?!
jud6312 Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Nope, it's Mr.But, like, pitching instead of drawing with crayons.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Author Posted September 30, 2020 It's been a fun season boys. I want to think eventually we will end the streak, but at some point it seems impossible. I know it can't go on forever, but it may for the rest of my lifetime
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Some of us were begging for the front office to add arms to this bullpen at the deadline.
Darius Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 This team’s softness is a reflection of its leadership. I’m at the point where I’m wondering what these people always fawning over Baldelli are looking at? He’s handed a superteam, and they’ve done is folded in every meaningful scenario presented. It’s time to quit blaming this on guys like Eddie Rosario.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Total system failure!!!
kydoty Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 This isn’t baseball. This is performance art.

mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 C,mon guys we did make the playoffs and not lose again to the yanks, so at least were being Consistent and that is ROCCOS Biggest thing he talks about,
