    I try to like Rocco but pinch hitting for your lead off hitter in the 4th inning is ridiculous. He does it almost every time.

    I don't have a problem with the decision in this particular game given that it was an elimination game. I just don't like the overall process of making a plan before the game and sticking to it no matter how the game plays out. A manager should adapt his plan based on how the players are playing. I don't think the Twins do that.

    This is what you get when the FO always thinks they can build a bullpen with guys off the scrap heap and trades your best reliever on opening day.

    Because they had players with heart and a great manager. That isn't the case now.

    This is probably an emotional over reaction but I don't have a lot of excitement for next year with Rocco's game management decisions.

    While I don’t disagree with leaving Stashak in today, it’s hard to understand pulling Trevor May yesterday after 11 pitches, but leaving Stashak in today.

    I hope never see Gibson pitch another game for the Twins. It’s excruciating.

    I wish they would have left both Brrrios and Duffey in longer. But I don’t think they ever gave Duffey more than one inning all year, so I guess I’m not surprised. Just don’t understand why they didn’t try it more during the year, figuring they might need him for more than an inning in the playoffs.

    I love watching Cruz play this year and he has been huge. Thome was a great signing as well. However, the Twins don't win a World Series without Morris. IMO, that makes him far and away the best Twins free agent signing ever.

    I've never been a fan of bunting unless they're bunting a guy from 2nd to 3rd with nobody out in the last inning when they need a run to tie or win. I hope they prove me wrong.

    I've been a fan since the early 70's Harmon, Kirby, Hrbek, Morneau Favorite team, 1987. Not even close. They seem like regular guys that you would love to have a beer with. Plus my first child was born during game 5 against Detroit when they wrapped up the AL pennant. Great day and great memory.

    I think it's too early to sell on Arcia as well. I still cringe about the Ramos for Capps trade. It might have been logical at the time to trade a young catcher when we had Mauer catching, but it hurts now. I know it's a little different case than Arcia but I think its too early, you never know what will happen with young players.
