Number.......

[Puckett34]

They're only in the 4th inning in Chicago??

Sox pitchers have already thrown 107 pitches.

Yikes.

And they're getting the snot beat out of them.

Hector Santiago got the start so I'm surprised its that low.

If we assume Gibson gets better as a reliever, I'm okay with him on the post-season roster. Problem is, which of the current relievers gets the boot?

I expect, at any moment, the Sox are going to mount a ferocious tepid comeback!

Kyle once pitched 7 good innings at yankee stadium,

[jimbo92107]

He's going to get eaten alive by the Yankees/Astros hitters if he pitches in a playoff series.

Gibson still throws pitches that get whiffs and grounders. And he's a veteran. Not an easy decision for Baldelli.

The Twins have an embarrassment of riches in the bullpen.

Just hilarious and true

Yeah, seems a bit weird to post that without this:

[gocgo]

Those pesky Indians won't give an inch. They are fighting for that wildcard spot...cause they ain't winning the division.

[Blake]

Thinking of Gibson, the Twins may not have much choice but to roll with Gibson.

It depends on Odorizzi and how serious his injury is.

[LaBombo]

Just a deuce baby!!!

Famous last words. My uncle said that on the annual fishing trip to Canada years ago, and an hour later we had to switch cabins.

But I'd rather be optimistic about clinching the playoffs than pessimistic about Odo, so deuce it is.

Detroit with their 110th loss!

Whoa. A division with 2 100-loss teams.

[wabene]

This game started slow and was seeming like a dud until the astute PT Baldelli brought in Kyle The Thin Man Gibson!

[BD57]

Sure would like to get some good news on the injury front ....

I remember how good I thought the '06 team would be "post-season" in the middle of the year .... and then Liriano went out & Radke's arm went flooey ....

Some good news please - let's get healthy.
