Game Thread: Twins vs. Nationals 3:40 PM PST (5:40 PM CDT)

[Richie the Rally Goat]

Oh yeah, bases juiced!

[Riverbrian]

Now who comes in?

Don't worry... It'll be someone who makes you nervous.

[PDX Twin]

Oh yeah, bases juiced!

This is not something that usually portends a Twins rally.

[VATwinsFan]

Now who comes in?

It's gotta be Rogers or Duffey, which means of course it will be May.

[FlauerPauer]

Bring in Rogers. Need to win this game. Don't mess around.

[Richie the Rally Goat]

Good eye Ehire!

[ashbury]

Flashback on James Beresford in 2016. Heartwarming story. Dark times.

[LaBombo]

Oh yeah, bases juiced!

Is that 60 games or 80?

[ashbury]

May up in the bullpen.

[VATwinsFan]

Bring in Rogers. Need to win this game. Don't mess around.

Four run lead = Rogers

Five plus run lead = May/Gratero/Littel

[ashbury]

Got a run.

[PDX Twin]

It's gotta be Rogers or Duffey, which means of course it will be May.

Let's get a few more runs and bring on Gimenez.

With a proper masking agent, you don't even know how many are on base.

[FLTwinsGuy]

Ok that was inside

[wabene]

That call was baloney!! Time for Mayday...

[stringer bell]

5-0. How about a no-drama ninth?

[IndianaTwin]

Got a run.

Okay, thanks for stopping in. See you later.

[LaBombo]

Dick with a bit of understatement about Rogers being "less effective" when pitching in the second appearance of consecutive games. Less effective in about the same way that toilet paper is after it falls into the lake on a canoe trip.

[stringer bell]

Possible oddity.....Romo gets a hold and there is no longer a save situation.

[yarnivek1972]

So, who you got for the 9th?

May?

Hildenberger?

Littel?

[VATwinsFan]

5-0. How about a no-drama ninth?

Seriously?

[LaBombo]

With a proper masking agent, you don't even know how many are on base.

And there's the new rule against improper screening at home plate...

[PDX Twin]

Eddie: I don't do chalant!

[Riverbrian]

5-0. How about a no-drama ninth?

Easier to take a nap that way.

[Bandit34]

We can count games like this on one hand this year!

[Riverbrian]

Possible oddity.....Romo gets a hold and there is no longer a save situation.

Less ammo for the Arbitrators to work with.

[David HK]

Whoa!

Who is that in CF?

Mandrake the Magician?

[VATwinsFan]

"THrow him the heater"

[wabene]

LURCH!!!!!

[PDX Twin]

It took a while for the offense to arrive, but these are my favorite games!
