Catchers blink surprisingly often when receiving the pitch, when slow motion happens to focus on them just right. I guess 94 MPH will make anyone blink.

They use the force. . . Duh!

It took a while for the offense to arrive, but these are my favorite games!

Yes, this is far, FAR more of a rewarding game than a 11-5 win! This is the way Baseball was meant to be played. Great starting pitching, good late game clutch hitting. I much prefer games like this!

Dick with a bit of understatement about Rogers being "less effective" when pitching in the second appearance of consecutive games. Less effective in about the same way that toilet paper is after it falls into the lake on a canoe trip.

I read past that portion of your statement with some trepidation.

Well, this game gives me hope that we have a really good chance to take 2 out of 3 or get a sweep against Washington. I hear that the Nationals have a bad bullpen. Cookie! Get to that bullpen the next two games, guys!

That was a sweet win.

The only thing that would have made it better would have been striking out Dozier instead of Eaton at the end of the game.

I know how you feel; there was also much trepidation after our beloved roll of toilet paper went overboard.

I think i got the reference, but it has been long enough since i saw the movie that i don't feel i understand what is meant.

The snakes name is Mitch. He's showing Mitch the snake how to eat the mouse. The dialogue went somewhat like this, "You better get him before I do Mitch, he's real tasty!" Then mouse goes in his mouth and then Amy Smart, who by the way was one of my teenage boy crushes, walks in.

I didn't remember the snake's name...

I did recognize it as Tom Green in Road Trip.

Tom Green has moments of utter brilliance mixed in with alien incomprehensibility, in my vagie recollection. Kinda in the vague realm of Kaufman-esc, but perhaps more shock value.

Wish i knew more of Kaufman's work, not sure i need too much more Tom Green.
