Cleveland Hall of Famer Steve Karsay, and some guy named Frank. (I hope I did the math correctly.)

PS: so as to not jinx anything, I have been doing the Cleveland magic number updates only when the Twins win.

If someone can get Fiers beard upside down you would have our magic number......9.

Yesterday's pic upside down.

Perfect, as the Twins winning 2 bullpen games over a very good team kinda turned my world upside down!

Wait, did our Magic Number go up?

Wait, did our Magic Number go up?

might be a miscalculation on my part. It was 9 after yesterday. 91-58 with 13 left 4.5 game lead...

[ashbury]

Magic numbers don't go up with our losses or their wins. They only go in one direction. We still need a combination of 9 wins (or their losses), and we didn't get either today.

miscounting on the calendar doesn’t help!

With No. 7 being newly retired, let's go ahead and skip over that tomorrow night.

Here's the more important Magic Number...just one Terry Felton away from Home Field Advantage throughout the AL Playoffs and a meeting with the Wild Card winner

But I have something I want to use... and it’s not a legendary catcher...

Meanwhile, Cleveland's magic number remains unchanged overnight at Mel Harder's - 18.

Wait... these numbers look strangely similar.

Does that mean we are as far behind the Yankees as the Indians are behind us?

(roughly speaking... within game in hand margins)
