Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 What do you use for your Manhattans? I like CC, light and mild. I've never liked bourbon.I actually like half rye, half bourbon. I use mole bitters, and if I have a lemon, a twist.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 I DID have chicken. Spent the day traveling, MCO-PTY-GUA. Followed by a 1.5 hour taxi ride through the mountains. Needless to say I was in no mood to cook anything, so I walked down to this little fried chicken joint and got some wings. Being a health-conscious individual, I also bought lettuce, carrots and tomatoes and made myself a little salad. Tried to grab a pint of ice cream as well but they only had rum-rasin. No gracias! Just exhausted, as evidenced by me posting all over another thread on this board, thinking it was the game thread.Okay ... I don’t know what all those airport codes are, so I can’t comment on where you’ve been. And chicken? Still, I get your travel weary, but shame! And rum raisin is AWESOME ice cream! And what thread? I can move your comments to here.

PDX Twin Verified Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 What did everyone have for dinner this evening? A lovely asparagus and rhubarb pasta salad from today's Washington Post! Yummy!
DiscGolfer Verified Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 big mike seems to always give up a homer but not much else, not worried about this start yet
DiscGolfer Verified Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 however I am becoming more concerned about out defense

I use Angostura bitters, also a little grenadine with a maraschino cherry garnish. I admit to being a bit of a wimp that way but it makes for a smooth cocktail.
gil4 Verified Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 Toothpaste sandwich? We were just discussing something like this at work today - a guy I work with had someone prank him by replacing the center of Oreo cookies with toothpaste. He said he ate two and then commented on the strong minty taste before they told him.
HawksNest Verified Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 That was a double play ball right there....

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 A lovely asparagus and rhubarb pasta salad from today's Washington Post! Yummy! I've had that before... It's very good but even better with Miami Herald mixed in. They use a different kind of paper.
