diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 I wonder what Giolito is thinking about now ... I mean, I'd certainly be thinking, 'wtf man ... did that guy have Wheaties or something?' I'm guessing most millennials don't know what Wheaties are.
MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Cruz's OPS now sits at a paltry .975
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Prediction, Giolito will not face Cruz again. Well, that's pretty bold. I mean, we do play the Sox again and will likely face Giolito again. Not to mention next season. I'm sure Cruz will face him again.
MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Giolito stays in...Gotta qualify for the W

bighat Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 The White Sox lineup isn't exactly NYY but they can hit. C'mon, Berrios, hold steady here buddy. Twins need a couple more scoreless here.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Sox DH has a .591 OPS... when did Gardy start managing them?
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Try to enjoy the game, okay? Try to use actual words, okay?
MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Now, I know I might get in trouble for bringing math into this, but I've noticed a pattern. Our runs scored per inning are 1-0-2-0-4. If we continue this pattern, we score 8 in the 7th and 16 in the 9th: 1-0-2-0-4-0-8-0-16. I know you all probably don't want to stay up that long, but remember, don't blame me, blame math.
mickeymental Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 i’m not impressed: each of cruz’s home runs was shorter than the one before.

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 The Twins just hammered the only legit starter the Sox are going to field in four games. This could be a fun series.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 I hate the idea of netting. Pay attention to the game so the rest of us don’t have to stare through black string all game.BS. The ball is coming at 80-100mph. Netting is the right call. Way to blame the victim.
