Haha, it wasn’t Telly Savalas, it was a rookie named Seby Zavala. Just a California kid with a nickname for Sebastian.

In fact, here is Zavala speaking in the post game interview:

[ashbury]

for the record, u guys have the BEST game thread ive seen

Speaking of Indians fans, at work the other day we were all asked which teams we were fans of. ...

[ashbury]

Not even great moderators?

I know it is hard, and ordinary moderators have trouble with it...

Just who exactly might you be referring to, Sir?

Most of us are the Nick Puntos of moderators.

Just speculatin' on a hypothesis.

You know i don't know nothin'.

(And i know i'm in trouble whenever i get called sir... Pretty sure i never got knighted.)

one measly homer? time to cork the bats!

[RaymondLuxuryYacht]

I can't believe I'm 'splainin' this.

It's a takeoff of an old lawyer joke.

"My dad's a lawyer."

"Honest??"

"No, just the regular kind."

...

"I'm an Indians fan."

...

I didn't know your dad was a lawyer

[gil4]

I've been trying for years to do it with diet and exercise... doesn't seem to work.

I was only repeating rumors from unreliable sources (skinny people.)

Another indication of trouble is when you are being called by your first, middle, and last names, Mr Sample SizeOf One.

I think the Of is tied to One rather than Size. Kind of like Claire D'Lune.

But i haven't actually thought about it, so your guess is as good as mine. Probably better.

I'm following the Sox broadcast on the DVR, so I'm a little behind. Which would you rather have this season?

Player A                Player B

203            PA           209

.297           Avg.        .288

17               HR           11

41               RBI          28

.379            OBP         .459

.674           SLG          .577

Player A = Twins catchers

Player B = Mike Trout

We aren't going to be making any progress this year. Chicken and waffles, fried chicken, sweet & sour chicken...

More importantly...

What sucking up do get to do now as pennants... i mean penance, and um, be liked by working class moderators?

Clean the Aggean Stables?

Roll a boulder up a hill?

Or write game thread intro?

[h2oface]

I was just reading lips, but pretty sure I saw Gibson say, as he left the field, "Bite me, Nibwits."

[wabene]

Great start for Gibby!

Maybe that bad taco has finally run its course.

[AlwaysinModeration]

Honestly, Chief’s joke was the only bad part of last night’s game.

[Blake]

Pitchers:

White Sox: None. Only belly itchers.

Betting window remains open on the Sox error line.

Over or under 2?
