Oh trust me, if you had visited a year or two ago, you wouldn't be saying this...  But yeah, this is a pretty good group.

As I said before, stick around. Lots of great content here along with some incredibly sharp people.

Speaking of Indians fans, at work the other day we were all asked which teams we were fans of.

I, of course, answered "the Twins.."

Someone else answered "the Indians."

We were all pretty ... surprised.

The guy asking the questions said "Honest?"

And back came the answer..."No, just a normal one."

I don't get it ...

Weren’t a lot of people on this site advocating for signing Herrera? Now he and Cody Allen have been reduced to doing mop-up duty . . . poorly.

Fun with numbers:

This is Jorge Polanco’s seventh 2 strikeout game. That accounts for almost half of his 33 strikeouts on the year.

He has at least one strikeout in 26 of his 49 games, roughly half.

So, there is roughly a 50% chance that Polanco will strike out in a particular game. However, if he strikes out once, there is a 1 in 3 chance that he will strike out again.

I just find it interesting that a guy who rarely strikes out (14.5% for the year and a little higher than that for his career) kinda has a high number of multiple strikeout games relative to his total number of strikeouts.

Or maybe I need more alcohol. I think I’m rambling here.

One thing cleveland saw waaaay in advanced...letting miller and allen walk and getting brad hand locked down for 3 yrs....hes been the best closer in baseball and the other 2 have been embarassing...and thats being kind

I’m pretty sure that’s incorrect.

Those two didn't get Wes Johnson as their pitching coach ;)

I don't get it ...

I can't believe I'm 'splainin' this.

It's a takeoff of an old lawyer joke.

"My dad's a lawyer."

"Honest??"

"No, just the regular kind."

...

"I'm an Indians fan."

Two trips to "The Jake" and both times I was impressed with the fans. Took my Old Man on a road trip and he got lots of love from the fans in his old, faded Twins cap. Recommendations on where to eat and the like. People laugh when I say "I love Cleveland" but its true. Baseball fans are a whole different class than football fans, IMHO.
