Detroit and Philly are still on my list of major league cities to see a game in.  

Philly definitely was a cool park. However, quality of teams aside, Baltimore might have been a tad cooler. It blends in beautifully with it's surroundings, whereas Citizens Bank Park, while very cool also, is located outside of town along with Lincoln Financial and Wells Fargo Arena.

My wife and youngest son went to the Panda Buffet last night for supper. I'm next to my son dishing up some food and a well dressed guy appears on my right. 

 

The guy was former North Dakota Governor Ed Schafer. I did a double take and the Governor notices me looking at him and says "Hello". 

 

I respond with "Hello... You know... I never took you for an all-you-can-eat guy". He laughed and says I've been here before and the food is good". 

 

My son was next to me and I turn to my Son and say "This is former Governor of North Dakota Ed Schafer... You may not remember him because he was the Governor when you were born". 

 

The Governor looks at me and says "Ed Actually" and then he shakes my son's hand and says "Nice to meet you".  

 

I was confused because I was sure that I said "Ed". I get back to the table and my son said "Dad you said Ed" and I was relieved because I usually have horrible names that I use for any politician.

Thinking about some of his recent op-eds, it’s possible he misremembered and thought his last name was Actually.

Odorizzi had strike 3 for the third out a couple batters ago. Any runs that would score this inning should be classified as ump-earned runs.

 

I want that stat created and published in Baseball Reference, ESPN and Fangraphs.
