Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 The umpire has been inconsistent the last couple innings
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 Second pitch to Adrianza - a strike to everyone except Blue behind the plate. Shameful.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 Second pitch to Adrianza - a strike to everyone except Blue behind the plate. Shameful.Luckily for the angels, it was Adrianza at the plate

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 RB has been around the block a time or two. Or ten. Yeah... They walk around with a cup of nickels turning multiple chairs around backwards to claim multiple machines.
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 Put up a "Bingo tonight" sign.Q: How do you round up a half-dozen old goats?A: Post "Game Thread - Twins vs. ..."
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 Yeah... They walk around with a cup of nickels turning multiple chairs around backwards to claim multiple machines. Is that like how they use lawn furniture to hold their parking spot in the winter? Or is that only here?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 Yeah... They walk around with a cup of nickels turning multiple chairs around backwards to claim multiple machines. clutching that "$2 Off Buffet" coupon with a deathgrip
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 Is that like how they use lawn furniture to hold their parking spot in the winter? Or is that only here? That must be wherever you are. They pee to mark territory in North Dakota.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 clutching that "$2 Off Buffet" coupon with a deathgrip Yeah... I'm not abnormally weak and I couldn't rip it out of their hands.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 That was strike 3. To everyone except Blue behind the plate. Shameful.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 That must be wherever you are. They pee to mark territory in North Dakota. To be fair, are there many on-street parking spots in a state with 17 houses?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 To be fair, are there many on-street parking spots in a state with 17 houses? Yeah... Not really... North Dakota has 17 houses and 26 Garages.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 Ever since the other night when Dick mentioned how may consecutive 5 inning starts the twins have had, it’s been a struggle getting there
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 Bad night for big blueI liked this comment but I didn't like it.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 Yeah... Not really... North Dakota has 17 houses and 26 Garages. The not so grand forks
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 Missed call at home has cost Jake 5 pitches, and let’s hope that’s all it’s cost him
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 What makes you all think the little box on TV with the little circle in it is any more accurate than the HP umpire? It's an approximation, people. Particularly up and down. I hope to all that's holy they NEVER go to an electronic K zone. That will further erode the soul of this game.
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 Good game. Wish I could stay for it, but I am in the Utah desert getting ready to leave early in the morning for higher ground in Nevada. Moving from a favorable time zone to an even more favorable one - looking forward to watching some good Twins games in the coming week.

DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 To be honest, I spent the best summer of my life when I was a kid riding horses and punching cows on my uncle's place near Norfolk, NE. I was 14 or 15 and my cousin Charlie was a year or two younger. That was damn near 60 years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday. Still get an ache in my shoulder every time the weather changes from the time my horse stepped in a prairie dog hole at a dead run and threw my hindend over tea kettle. Can still smell the cow manure I plowed up... wait, maybe that ain't cow manure I'm smelling!I have family that grew up in Norfolk. And 3 of my best friends...we are all in Omaha now...grew up in the town's around there. They are from Tilden and Meadow Grove.
jtkoupal Verified Member Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 Really sad I'm not in Anaheim right now. I went there last year (not to see the Twins) and it's a neat, though surprisingly rudimentary, stadium. On the bright side, I'm probably going to see the Twins in Detroit in a few weeks and I've already seen them in Philly and Baltimore this year!
