Wow. Rosario didn't get it into the infield soon enough there. Awful game from Eddie tonight.

 

This team looks pretty terrible tonight. Really ugly stuff.

It's not meaningless. It's just not very significant.

If 10 TB in one game isn’t very significant...how many more would it take?

Yep. Clean single to left, Rosario fielded it and just...held the ball. He just never threw it in. Harper noticed and just kept running. It's pretty much exactly what Rosario does to opposing players all the time, yet he let Harper do it to him. Think the guy needs a day off tomorrow, he's a train wreck tonight.

It's not meaningless. It's just not very significant.

The Wikipedia page has already been updated with Polanco's meaningless insignificant achievement.

Is there a source other than mlb.com that prople prefer to check the status of a game in progress? For some reason, when I’m on gameday, some stupid walmart ad pops up. Frequent problem on that site. Highly annoying.

I use CBS game tracker....alas, they've got a twitter feed that scrolls on the side that features reporters who cover each team. Including Mike Bernardino, who left the Pioneer Press 8 months ago to cover sports in Indiana. So tonight's Twins/Phillies game tracker feed is full of insightful tweets about Notre Dame women's basketball.

The ESPN site lets you watch the box score without being forced into that annoying gameday interface.

I think the point is that one of each HR,3B,2B,1B isn't really any more significant than say, 2 HR and a 2B, both are 10 bases. One is just more quirky than the other so we take note of it.
