sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 4th inning turned out better than the second after Buxton reached. 2 runs in for a lead, and i guess i'm jinxing the rest of the inning...
Blake Verified Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Squirrels don't hibernate. We're talking our Northern Neighbors here. Things are different, to say the very least, in that weird yet fascinating place.

Borealis Provisional Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Man if only Rosario could do something to help his team win.
youngtwinsfan Verified Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 By early I assume you mean innings, not time. I live on the West coast, and I'm not sure this game will finish by bed time.Lol. yes i meant innings, its always nice to see the Twins run somebody elses starter out early, instead of the other way around.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Can anyone explain why mccullers is still in?
twinssporto Verified Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 I'll send one of our runners over to read back your card confirming your bingo. Everyone please hold your cards. This is not some podunk, willy-nilly bingo hall, pal. Since you said it that way, I may have made a mistake on a square or two... No Bingo. My bad.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Can anyone explain why mccullers is still in?Houston thought this was a night game and they think he's throwing BP?
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Can anyone explain why mccullers is still in?To serve up that Kepler bomb.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Was about to post something snarky about Morrison's RBI single, on my arrival to the game, but Kepler changed my mind.

D. Hocking Verified Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 So is every game going to be like this when it is above freezing?

Blake Verified Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 I hope this game turns out to be a bit of payback for the shellacking of last year.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Above freezing? The point where hockey must be played on wheels instead of blades.

ThejacKmp Provisional Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Confused by the lineup choices. McCullers is a righty but has pretty stark reverse platoon splits. Last year RHB put up a 754 OPS while lefties only had a 605 OPS. That's pretty similar to his career stats. I like putting seven lefties out against righties in general but not today. Would've been a good day to get Grossman, Sano, etc. in the lineup. Not sure why the Twins are running out this lineup but could be a day with few runs. Man, I really had this wrong. Well played Molly, well played. Also, we should cut Rosario.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Anyone up for a lawyer joke? Everyone?? OK NASA is interviewing candidates for the first manned mission to Mars. The kicker is...it's a one way trip. The astronaut isn't coming back. First up is an engineer. "What will it take" comes the question from the NASA crew. "One million dollars," he says. "I'll donate it to my alma mater, Stanford University." Next up, a doctor. "What will it take?" "Two million," comes the answer, "and I'll donate one million to my alma mater, the University of Minnesota, and give one million to my family." Finally, a lawyer. "What will it take?" "Three million," says the lawyer. "Why so much?" asks the interviewers. "Well, I'll give you a million to split, I'll keep a mil, and we'll send the engineer."
