Game Thread: Twins @ Orioles, 4/1/18 @ 12:05pm CDT

*on a double

They score it that way on a dumbass throw from left? Whatev.

[USAFChief]

He did exactly what I can't do with a pitching wedge from that distance.

Cause someone to go home?

[diehardtwinsfan]

Love the start. Here's to hoping Buxton can go an entire game without a K.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

I could used to these innings.

Indeed i like these four run ways.

[SwainZag]

Mmmmm crooked number

[Mill1634]

Very nice, tidy inning from JO

[snepp]

Figures I missed the top half of the inning.

[Vanimal46]

Easy breezy snapper mow em down inning!

[jimbo92107]

Berrios looks sharp. Good sign.

Now, let's have some more bunting!

If you can find grass back in Minnie...

[diehardtwinsfan]

Superstition time... go find something to do for the next 15 minutes.

[ashbury]

I’m seeing people heading towards the exits.

Not sure why. There's no crowd to beat. Maybe the ushers are being given the rest of the afternoon off.

[Vanimal46]

If you can find grass back in Minnie...

I guess for now it's a snapper snowblow em out inning?

[USAFChief]

well consider missing some more.

[AlwaysinModeration]

SloMo chuuuuggging it over to first on that shift.

[USAFChief]

No problem with a prescription.

[Vanimal46]

Snepp, are you watching this inning? If so, turn off your TV please.

[AlwaysinModeration]

Mauer didn’t get the “hit em where they ain’t” memo.

[Mill1634]

My bad.

[BoofBonser]

Great start to this one!

LoMo can't catch up to any fastballs right now... that delayed start to Spring Training is showing

[USAFChief]

I was deployed to the middle east several times in my AF career, and I always found the TV habits and preferences of the locals fascinating.

For instance, the people of Dubai do not like The Flinstones.

But the people of Abu Dhabi do.

[BoofBonser]

Also, Berrios hitting 96 on April 1st is really nice to see

[Mill1634]

Please keep swinging at the first pitch Baltimore

The moral of the story; Know who you are and never run with the flock as you might catch a bullet.

My mom grew up on a farm in southern Indiana, and she had a pet pig named Sunny Jim. Well, it turned out that Sunny Jim grew up, and it was a traumatic experience for the both of them.

Yeah, LoMo looks like he has a really long, slow swing. Seems like he needs to shorten that up.

Same goes for Sano. He's at his best when he's mixing in opposite field singles into his offensive game. Right now he's trying to hit a HR every time and he's going to strike out 4 times today if he keeps that up.

Yeah...chickens contribute to breakfast.

Pigs...they're committed.

Perhaps they moved since the memo was taken?

BP thrower needs to throw him sliders every at bat
I'm willing to bet 85% of his strikeouts are on sliders from RHP
He's got so much talent, but I'm afraid he's got the curse of Jobu

[Mill1634]

SANO-DOUBTER!!

He crushed that thing
