gocgo Verified Member Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 Something about sweeping the Sox is really sweet...oh yeah! It's that Hawk Harrelson guy! Love to hear the sound of silence from Hawk. I'd like to think the Sox are in rebuilding mode, but I think they depleted their farm system during the "All In" era.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 You can all thank me for this win. I got irritated and turned off the game the moment Belisle gave up a homer.

gocgo Verified Member Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 Yankees finish with 14 of their last 17 at home.Angels finish with 12 of their last 19 at home, but 9 of those 19 games are against Cleveland and Houston.Orioles finish with 15 on the road and 7 at home with 10 of those games against, NYY, Cleveland, and BoSox.The key to our Twins will be the 10 game road trip against the Yankees, Detroit, and Cleveland. Make or break right there.

SF Twins Fan Verified Member Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 I've got tickets to the Twins - Yankees game on September 18th! Games from here on out should be playoff intensity.

They are fortunate that their lead is so enormous that they can afford to more or less take a week or two off. Sure, I want the Twins to go as far as they can, but it would be truly unfortunate if their season is derailed because of this.
