The Angels' system has been bereft for quite some time.

 

I'm not huge on the Angels adding at this point, mainly because they're really pretty close to the Twins in that second wild card slot.

The Chicago announcers are commenting on how Molitor is being too hard on Buxton.  They don't think Molitor should have put him on the bench just because he didn't have a great game yesterday.  They clearly have checked out for the rest of the year.

I think their stadium personnel had checked out last week also, Nik Turley could have been an identical twin to Zack Granite by looking at the picture on the jumbotron during the first game of the doubleheader and the season averages posted on the scoreboards varied widely from at-bat to at-bat, Buxton was hitting in the 150s during one at-bat and Mauer was in the 240s for one of his.
