Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Or not. So happy for buxton. And us.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 BIG BUX, BIG BUX, NO WHAMMIIIIIIIEEEEEES!!!! Great to see Bux peaking at the right time of the year.
GCTF Verified Member Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Why look, Mauer drives a ball to right.Right center so it doesn't count. #narrative
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Buxton now almost the same BA as Kepler.....
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Tuned in to see what was going on with this hilarious turrible team. I find the score is 1-1. Turning the game off. This season is over.It is fall already? My how time flies!
GCTF Verified Member Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Only a matter of time before a stud like Aoki gets to you
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Gibson totally up in the zone and serving up meat. It is amazing Toronto doesn't have more runs. That last pitch to Montero was right down the pipe, too.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 First two to Goins.... right down the middle, too.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Seems Buxton has truly arrived!Wherever you go... There you are!
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Just setting them up, eh? Living dangerously.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Right handed Vargas. Batting .163. Time to pinch hit.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Right handed Vargas. Batting .163. Time to pinch hit. good thing I'm not the manager....
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Right handed Vargas. Batting .163. Time to pinch hit.Vargas disagrees. Hopefully he does so more frequently than 1 out of 7 from here on in... (If he is little Poppi, who is Goldilox?)
Monkeypaws Verified Member Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 I think we've seen with Berrios and Buxton this season that at some point they have to figure it out at the MLB level. Berrios had his 8 ERA last season, and Buxton was hitting .195 as recently as July 3. Credit to the coaching staff for helping these guys stick.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Vargas disagrees. Can't improve your right handed average if you don't get at bats...... now we have the speed on the bases.....
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Dozier not even close to the ball. It is like he totally takes his eye off it at time.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 First-guessing time... 94 pitches, retired 11 of the last 12....LEAVE HIM IN!!!
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Wow, 4 innings, 6 hits and a home run and we're happy with Gibson's performance. That just shows how far down he's been. We should be thrilled if we get 6 innings 4 runs or less today out of him. Gotta keep scoring... 6-6-2-2-1-6 I'm good with that.
Darius Verified Member Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Buxton is insane right now. Fans were calling for his head at the All-Star break (calling for Granite). By the end of the year, at this rate, he'll be showing up in the MVP conversation.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Not too early to say Byron = GOAT
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 BIG BUX, BIG BUX, NO WHAMMIIIIIIEEEEEEESSSSSSS **TIMES 2** Bux has raised his average 26 points since the San Diego series.
