Gibson totally up in the zone and serving up meat. It is amazing Toronto doesn't have more runs. That last pitch to Montero was right down the pipe, too.

I think we've seen with Berrios and Buxton this season that at some point they have to figure it out at the MLB level.

 

Berrios had his 8 ERA last season, and Buxton was hitting .195 as recently as July 3.

 

Credit to the coaching staff for helping these guys stick.

Wow, 4 innings, 6 hits and a home run and we're happy with Gibson's performance.  That just shows how far down he's been. We should be thrilled if we get 6 innings 4 runs or less today out of him. Gotta keep scoring...

Buxton is insane right now.

 

Fans were calling for his head at the All-Star break (calling for Granite). By the end of the year, at this rate, he'll be showing up in the MVP conversation.
