Great start in the Bronx.  Hopefully that will continue.

[mikecgrimes]

I don't think he's terrible, but at this point he's a decent back up, just a bench guy imo. Occasional DH when it's favorable.

That type of player just doesn't have a ton of value despite wowing fans more frequently then guys like Nick Punto or Robby Grossman.  Of course if that sort of player hit's with a little more frequency they can be very valuable.

Thank you old friend Andrew Albers.

Gibby gonna gibby!

[jimmer]

It's hard to have a guy be out at the plate when the catcher doesn't tag the guy

[TwinsCD]

And the Gibson 'find-the-bat' pitching strategy continues...

[mikecgrimes]

Watching this game on turf I'm left wondering if Kirby Puckett was half the hitter Tony Gwynn was.

[jimmer]

are you kidding me?

[notoriousgod71]

This team is hilariously bad.

[GCTF]

Turrible

[Squirrel]

Hey, has anyone ever said that it's BS that Toronto is in the AMERICAN league?

Why? They are in North AMERICA.

[Aggies7]

This might be a good time to get the grass cut

[jimmer]

now, can Gibby shake off the bad play.

[yarnivek1972]

The error obviously contributing, but too many pitches again. Pitch 30 coming. 4 outs.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Polanco makes the costliest errors.

[jimmer]

there we go.

[GCTF]

Better!

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Hey, two double plays in one inning!

[yarnivek1972]

Carerra spun his wheels at home. Otherwise, he probably beats the relay.

Well done.

[drock2190]

2 innings worth of outs in 1 inning!

[USAFChief]

As long as Polanco gets two chances at every play, he's ok at SS.

And just how slow IS Mauer, anyway?

[mikecgrimes]

He's actually pitching very well, nothing is being hit remotely hard.

[ashbury]

Tuned in to see what was going on with this hilarious turrible team. I find the score is 1-1. Turning the game off. This season is over.

[Aggies7]

5 errors for the mariners in the first inning. YIKES

[mikecgrimes]

Watching this game on turf I'm left wondering if Kirby Puckett was half the hitter Tony Gwynn was.

On grass Puckett .292 Gwynn .339

except those fouls balls

[mikecgrimes]

I'm a big fan of trying to score in this situation on any ball that hits the ground no matter what.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Please don't squeeze here. Although, it is Buxton.

[mikecgrimes]

Great baserunning!!!  Making my point perfectly.

[Aggies7]

Base running hasn't been our strong suit today
