I don't think he's terrible, but at this point he's a decent back up, just a bench guy imo. Occasional DH when it's favorable.

 

That type of player just doesn't have a ton of value despite wowing fans more frequently then guys like Nick Punto or Robby Grossman.  Of course if that sort of player hit's with a little more frequency they can be very valuable.

Why? They are in North AMERICA.

As long as Polanco gets two chances at every play, he's ok at SS.

 

And just how slow IS Mauer, anyway?

He's actually pitching very well, nothing is being hit remotely hard.
