I was in the middle of a conversation with a girl when she said something and followed it with "no pun intended".    I thought about her prior sentence and said "there was no pun"   She said "Of course there wasn't.   Weren't you listening?   I even said that I intended for there to be no pun"   Not a big fan of puns so that is still my favorite exchange ever about puns.
