At the risk of being inappropriate, I have a serious question. Yesterday's minor league report said Lewis Thorpe was pitching today, but he isn't. What's the story?

Also, tomorrow's Chattanooga pitcher is listed as TBD, even though it's Gonsalves's turn. Is Gonsalves going to Rochester and Thorpe to Nooga?

Mrs Chief asked me today if we could have a yard sale Saturday, she wants to get rid of things around the house that are "just collecting dust."

 

I said "OK, how 'bout we start with the vacuum cleaner?"

As entertaining as it might be to watch tonight's Twins game just to see whatever will be ... I might have to be checking in on the Miracle game with Lewis Thorpe on the mound and BRENT ROOKER IN LF!! Yup ... he's up and starting! :)

 

Sounds more entertaining than the Twins-Yankees.

I would like to point out that this was a lie. Lewis Thorpe is not on the mound.  For some reason, we signed former Oriole's 2B Brady Anderson to pitch.  Rooker is playing.

True story:  Mrs Chief just saw Bartolo warming up in the pen on TV.

 

"That's not real, is it?"

With or without a bucket of extra crispy? Or was the warm up a bucket of chicken?
