This kid's stuff is impressive tonight.

 

Jose Fernandez has come to mind a lot while watching Berrios throw tonight.

 

Fernandez was in another league, and was consistently great. But, Berrios' stuff tonight looks very similar. Wicked movement, with the ability to command it.

Popping on here to say that I don't care if he's at 96 pitches, Berrios better be out there for the 8th.  He isn't losing any velocity and doesn't look fatigued.  Don't leave this for the bullpen.

 

Unless we can hang a 4 spot or something in this inning.
