Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 of all the games to Not be televised....gotta get that MLB tv package...I see all the games except for the locally blacked out ones.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Or that said complete game was only 6 innings. That does take some luster off of it, doesn't it?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 of all the games to Not be televised....It was televised ... just not in your market.
bluechipper Provisional Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Great game today, Ervin... That's what I've heard anyways.
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 It was televised ... just not in your market. Ah, well that makes me happy again. Thanks! NO, WAIT ! WHAAA ??
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 9 Innings, 2 Hits, 0 Walks! Careful of the jinx.
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 gotta get that MLB tv package...I see all the games except for the locally blacked out ones.If FNS is suddenly halting all Twins broadcasts, I may have to look into it.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 The wrong impression is definitely not something I wish to convey on this topic. The implication that anyone employed by the Twins is reading a game thread is already the wrong impression.
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Good to see Santana, both of them, have good games. And Ervin's 18th complete game. Twins are starting to look better.
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 The implication that anyone employed by the Twins is reading a game thread is already the wrong impression. Twins employees can't read? Gosh, that explains a lot. Thanks.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Careful of the jinx. And beware the jabberwock. Tastes like chicken, though, from what i hear...
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Twins employees can't read? Gosh, that explains a lot. Thanks. Yes, that can be the only explanation for not taking advantage of the chance to gain the varied benefits of a game thread.
Blake Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 And the Twins winning record against the AL West continues. The mind boggles.
Blake Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 BRILLIG!Slithy toves. And if we're going down this road, did Santana wield the vorpal blade?
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Love the complete game shutout! Gives the team something/someone to rally around and ups the ante for the other pitchers Also, Juan Centeno
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Slithy toves. And if we're going down this road, did Santana wield the vorpal blade? It went snicker-snack.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Love this kind of game. Wish I could have seen it. I suppose my office is considered in-market.
Blake Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Ah, well that makes me happy again. Thanks! NO, WAIT ! WHAAA ??I may have to watch this game using the mlb.tv game archive. Comes with the subscription.
gocgo Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 We're only 16 games out of the wild card and only 5 games from being out of last place in the AL. We are no longer the worst team in baseball! Yeeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhhhh baby!
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 A lot of really good at bats today by Kepler, Grossman and even Eddie on his sacrifice fly. Even with all the DSan hate, he had a great game. Drove the ball nicely twice and looked the part at SS. Not much more to say about Ervin that the box score doesn't tell you. Extremely efficient, and got ahead in the count repeatedly.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Looked like a nice game all around. I like wins.....
spinowner Provisional Member Posted July 6, 2016 Author Posted July 6, 2016 Yes, everyone on the team contributed something positive today. Including everyone on this site marshalling the team to victory!
bird Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 when Berrios was up (Jose Berrios, a prospect in the Twins system for those who aren't familiar) anyway when Berrios was up, I swear I saw Santana and Berrios sitting together constantly. It would be nice to hear more about that. If Berrios looks up to Santana that might be something to build on.(of course it might not, but it might) As long as they weren't exchanging PED recipes....
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 As long as they weren't exchanging PED recipes....Well, there's that.
