Well, I'll say this. With all the talk about inappropriate or frowned upon game thread posts, if you're still watching this trash at this point, you have to be a true fan. That entitles you to something, in my book.

Just so you don't exhaust yourself.. I'm going ask you to be the guy who updates Kepler Major League Stats.

I appreciate the assignment, but that still may be a little too much work. Can I volunteer for Nick Gordon's MLB stats? That should give me a 2-3 year window of preparation.

There are Twins fans who still can't spell Mauer correctly.  Spelling isn't high on any list of competency. :-)

 

I know and I have Twins Fans in my neighborhood who start up their Mauer at 7AM on a Saturday morning.

Does this mean Fien gets sent down?  Yet another inning with runs scored for him.  Seems like the needs to be some equity.  Meyer gets treated like crap and his confidence dinged.  But good forbid Hughes or Fien or any of the other underperforming veterans gets held accountable.

I feel bad for Meyer.  Can you imagine the amount of heat he took from his teammates in Rochester?  I can see him walking into the locker room upon getting sent back down and everyone turning around saying that didn't take long dude!

Going into today, Mauer's OBP was 41 points higher than any other AL regular.  41 points. And he's 2 for 3.  He's gotten on base every game.
