Twinsbar107 Verified Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Altuve and Correa are each a triple shy of the cycle..... and who said this can't be fun

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Haha mlb tv just showed a clip of kirbys HR in game 6 with Jon Gordon on the call. Salt meet wound.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 I'd go to bed but I want to see Park and Sano hit one out and I'd like to see who takes the mound out of the positions player.
Dr. Evil Verified Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 I suggest Minkiewicz as the manager and an orange highway cone as the gm.
Guest Guests Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 J.R. Graham pitching to J.R. Murphy. People in Houston are more scared of J.R. Ewing.
Pius Jefferson Verified Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Bet he can still fall out of bed hitting, though. I have a Jimmy Wynn Colt 45's jersey. That's a team logo and name you'll never see again.
Twinsbar107 Verified Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 I'm hoping for the double cycle... as what better way to sum up twins baseball this year than that.
Platoon Verified Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 I appreciate the assignment, but that still may be a little too much work. Can I volunteer for Nick Gordon's MLB stats? That should give me a 2-3 year window of preparation. I would go for Dee Gordon's instead!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Jack said a game like this is no fun. I'll take his professional opinion.
DiscGolfer Verified Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 has there ever been a double cycle in a game?
Guest Guests Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Wow. Graham's ERA with the Twins is now exactly the same as with Rochester.
Twinsbar107 Verified Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 New strategy for the twins:I second this
Dr. Evil Verified Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 has there ever been a double cycle in a game?it depends what section you are sitting in.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 it depends what section you are sitting in.Hmmmmmmmmmm
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 The last two years I worked for a minor league club, I think we used a position player to pitch 5 or 6 times. It's awfully embarrassing.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Hahaha cmon eddy. This is like old man slow pitch softball.
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Wow. Graham's ERA with the Twins is now exactly the same as with Rochester.Consistency. Terry Ryan is going to love him.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 I've decided to not watch the Twins play tomorrow I mean it.
David HK Verified Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Wow. Graham's ERA with the Twins is now exactly the same as with Rochester.I didn't see the latest Rochester shuffle news til I logged on to the thread today. I have to admit to being completely perplexed they called up the guy with the worst ERA and WHIP on the AAA team-- but it just seems to fit with the way the Twinkie (and I'm quoting the great Joe Angel here) 'Brain-thrust" is going these days. Just another in an ever-longer line of completely inexplicable moves.

Guest Guests Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Today's suggested learning for the manager. When you're down 10 runs and you're pitching the "I concede" guy from AAA, and your best player is older and has an injury history, you might as well pinch hit for him and give him a break.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 "That iceberg doesn't look that big" Edward John Smith We can use the coffee table to gut that deer. The Wife won't mind -Chief-
Platoon Verified Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 I make a motion to combine the mn twins talk forum and minor league talk forum. why would you want to do that to the MiLB forum?
