Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 I still don't understand why Nunez's butt has felt a bench at all the past 20 games.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 This year hasn't been fun thus far... but I think the Twins are setting up for a long run. I think so too, but the non-prospect portion of the roster (minus a few) is greatly deficient. This would not be a good supporting cast, even IF all the prospects pan out.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Gee, ummmm,.... thanks. I'll think about it.Don't think about it for long... Someone else will chomp at the bit to be a Murphy guy!
David HK Verified Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Ya know, 'dese here t'reads do keep 'dese kinda games a heckuva lot more bearable.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Sano really should have caught that ball.
David HK Verified Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Don't think about it for long... Someone else will chomp at the bit to be a Murphy guy!Come to think of it, might be an easy job. Only have to post stuff if he gets a hit now and then. Hmmmm....
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 As long as real baseball talk is on the back burner, you're 100% correct David
Guest Guests Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 wow and Hicks hitting .067What would you think if Chris Herrmann had been traded for Murphy and Hicks had been traded for Palka?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 What would you think if Chris Herrmann had been traded for Murphy and Hicks had been traded for Palka?Great screen name.
David HK Verified Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Well, doody calls. Off to a wonderful reading exercise. Cheerio.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Come to think of it, might be an easy job. Only have to post stuff if he gets a hit now and then. Hmmmm....I like the way you're thinking here! How exhausting would it be to be a Mauer guy these days? I couldn't handle it...
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 What would you think if Chris Herrmann had been traded for Murphy and Hicks had been traded for Palka? I think the secretary in the Commissioners office would have been asking if the spelling of Herrmann was correct.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 I do wonder how much rope Fien will get before he gets DFA'd. It's probably much longer than it should be...
jimmer Verified Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Bremer just talked about how many CFs the Twins have traded over the last several years. And we've had a lot of value from those trades...
David HK Verified Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 But, before I go-- over on the Twit the Twinkie guys are beefin' about the bandbox home runs-- but, aren't the fences the same for both teams? S'pose we could hit a couple of those dinky fly balls ourselves? Pfft.(It's not like the old days in the Dome, where we could turn off the AC in the 9th if we were behind...)
COtwin Provisional Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Does this mean Fien gets sent down? Yet another inning with runs scored for him. Seems like the needs to be some equity. Meyer gets treated like crap and his confidence dinged. But good forbid Hughes or Fien or any of the other underperforming veterans gets held accountable.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 I like the way you're thinking here! How exhausting would it be to be a Mauer guy these days? I couldn't handle it... Just so you don't exhaust yourself.. I'm going ask you to be the guy who updates Kepler Major League Stats.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Well, I'll say this. With all the talk about inappropriate or frowned upon game thread posts, if you're still watching this trash at this point, you have to be a true fan. That entitles you to something, in my book.
jimmer Verified Member Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 I think the secretary in the Commissioners office would have been asking if the spelling of Herrmann was correct. There are Twins fans who still can't spell Mauer correctly. Spelling isn't high on any list of competency. :-)
