They bring in a reliever who they think is good, and will help and then dont give him a chance to get out of the inning, and if you are going to replace him, try O'Rourke, super vs lefties, Duensing , meh!!

classic Brock sticking up for Ryan and his ****ty trade. Jepsen lost this game for the twins plain and simple with his two walks and a wp.

I think Brock broke my sarcasm meter. But this isn't a good one to recalibrate on...

Hopefully Toronto can wipe the floor with us and finally stop anyone from thinking this team is anything but a .500 at best club. May was a great month, but they were playing over their heads all year. It's about time the party ends.

The blame is on Perkins for not intentionally walking Cruz when he was down 3-0. Then it's on Jepsen for not knowing where the strike zone is. And then on Duensing for his incompetence at stranding inherited runners.

But most of all, the blame is on Terry Ryan for keeping guys like Fien & Duensing in MN instead of the guys in AAA that could be up here.

My favorite aspect of this bullpen is how they're all stepping up to try to get Terry Ryan fired.

What's Drew Butera up to these days? He'd be a solid upgrade to our pen.

Well Terry should be happy he got the bullpen fixed. He can go back fishing with Bark.

He's welcome to it. After this game, that is what I see myself doing at 7:00pm Monday-Saturday, and 1:00pm on Sundays.

I think that there is plenty of blame to go around, but every team has bad days and bad series.

And Mauer grounds out to end the game.

How is Max Kepler doing in Chattanooga?

You don't see a guy swing and miss at a pitch that almost hits him in the face too often.

Yeah, usually they duck and forget to lower the bat for a foul ball.

Oh well.

Thanks all for the company.

It's always darkest before the dawn and tomorrow is a new day.  Maybe we can sweep the Jays.  Anything can happen in baseball.

Choose your cliche, but let's enjoy the rest of this day.

I think O'Rourke warmed up fully in the 8th, probably making him unavailable at that point.

43 days until Vikings opening game.

Yeah! I see us getting to the NFC championship game, and Teddy's appendix will burst  in the first half.

Obviously, Iwakuma was awesome today. It was great to see Doz hit a HR off of him and give us a shot at taking this game, but when these situations arise it appears the Twins need to strike fast and take advantage of their fortunes. If it is drawn out, our bullpen will always lose the game of Tug-O-War.

I'm still hoping for the best and cheering these guys on, but at the same time, I cannot lie to myself and think this thing is going to work out for the best. They need to get Berrios into the bullpen mix, and that might not work out, but at this juncture, I believe that to be the only chip we have left on the table.

That's some deep thinking.

5 hits in almost 20 innings of two games against one of the worst clubs in the AL.

Really tough to win ballgames you only score 2 combined runs in.

I just had an idea. Instead of going after BP pitchers, TR should have targeted starters. He could call up a few (I.e. Berrios). When we had 10 legit starters in the majors (including May), the best 5 could start the game and then we'd have a BP rotation, and the respective reliever would take it the rest of the way. We could get rid of a LOT of our BP, and the rest would be ... well ... supplementary mascots.

This comment is lame. There is no need to be a smart ass to someone who is trying to be optimistic and is the head moderator Einstein.

And we've had quite a lot of both since the AS break.

Anybody know why McClendon gave up the DH, seemingly unnecessarily?

Ooh!    I know this one!    For the same reason he had his squad rely on 58 foot sliders and defensive indifference with a one run lead in the ninth last night, and asked to be ejected in the process:    he's not a very good manager.
