Might want to check your math there. Asians have been involved in school shootings as well. A better argument would be to say Timberwolves fans are 100% against school shootings because none of them have committed school shootings. /sarcasm

He isn't being widely criticized, only a small number of rubes are the ones booing him. Also there are other people who are reliant on him while he continues to play: His agent, obviously, PR Team, etc. NTM the entire MLB players union.

These threads should be fun to look back on after Mauer leads the Twins to a world series title this year or next by hitting something like .450 in the playoffs with 3 HR and 10 RBI

Mauer looks solid in the field, and while his bat hasn't been great, he has been pretty "clutch" which helps. He definitely is one of the best 9 on the Twins currently, talking him retiring is just foolish. 2018 may be a bit painful if he regresses more, but we always knew that could be the case with any long term deal.

In college (this was reported a few years ago) apparently Jared only ate subway because it was in his dorm (too lazy to walk anywhere to get other food). Also apparently he made money in college by renting out porn (had a vast porn collection) for a $1 a day to other students and people in town. Now again, there is nothing inherently wrong with watching LEGAL porn, and 99.99999% of people who watch Porn aren't child molesters etc, but it just goes to show that this guy probably showed warning signs from the very beginning, there were many reports of people complaining to the law and Subway about creepy comments he made about underage girls as well. Subway absolutely had some "idea" that he was a creep, now I doubt they could imagine he was a monster like this, but they should be held somewhat liable as well to make a very hefty payment to the victims.

I'm pretty sure I can't do a better job then even the worst Twins player (Nishioka) that doesn't mean you can't want them replaced.

I thought we had Jepsen for situations like this?
