I live in LA and have seen Adell play way too many times. We don't want Adell. He is worse than Keaschall in CF and a tick below average in RF. Classic biggish power, high SO guy. Wallner with a few fewer SOs and better in the field.

I don't think I've seen a flyball hit off of Wallner's head and go over the fence for a HR (usually he doesn't get close enough to the flyball)....

You don't clear spots for players until they are ready. 

Culpepper needs to simply stay healthy most of all and Jenkins doesn't hit lefties. The both aren't going to help a playoff team now. If the Twins were out of contention I would be all for it to bring them up.

Fedko also has no trade value other than as a additional throw in as part of a bigger trade. Frankly, I'd kind of like to see Roden traded as part of a package for pitching gave him the same opportunity elsewhere. A trade like that would help clear the decks so we can get Jenkins and Culpepper up to the Bigs for the stretch run. We need some hitting and it doesn't look like we are going to be able to trade for it.

So does anyone realize Fedko and Culpepper have similar stat lines? Fedko was obviously nervous and never got comfortable when he was called up.

Concur.  I was at a game in Cleveland last Friday.  They lost, courtesy of my rally cap which I deployed on behalf of the Diamondbacks in the 8th inning (a hill I will die on).  But the atmosphere in their ballpark was great despite the bullpen meltdown.  Attendance was 36,639.  The fans didn't need constant reminders from the scoreboard to "make some noise."  It's not Fenway but there's a good baseball tradition there.

The Twins' most recent Friday game was July 24th, versus the Athletics of West Sacramento - not much different of a draw to a team in the middle of the country than Arizona, IMO.  Attendance that night was 26,128. Priority #1 is adding about 10,000 to that.  If you're not drawing on weekends, heaven help you.

Cleveland shows me that you can draw (and they still need to improve also) without a roster any better than what the Twins have now.  But you can shoot yourselves in the (marketing) foot with moves like trading Jeffers.

Yup. 

Lots and lots of damage repair to be done. Some minor positives already this season. It helps that .500 is enough to sniff contention. It helps they've actually added a bit. Public statements have been pretty fair, which is a massive improvement over the disasters of recent years.

Trading Jeffers or Ryan RN would  be widely viewed as just more salary dumping.

If it helps with the value that Jeffers may currently have, regardless of your thoughts on whether he "should" be dealt, the Red Sox gave up their #2 prospect (per MLB.com) for Adley Rutschman.
