Baseball man: there's nothing like baseball to deliver these exciting and preposterous scenarios. I mean, who could have imagined Kiersey, Jr. as the game MVP, a 90 minute rain delay, and a Red Sox pitching implosion in the 9th leading to a Brooks Lee walk off.

You've got to love it!

Oh, by the way, a shout out to those few fans who rode out the long, long rain delay when the most likely outcome after play resumed was a 13 pitch 1-2-3 inning for Twins' batters.

(Also, the Twins could have drafted Lee, Prielipp, and then STILL gotten Anthony with their 68th pick they used on Tanner Schobel before the Red Sox drafted him 79th in 2022.)
