I agree - however, just back from injury maybe a planned day.  At least lets hope

I would assume bad opponent, night game, day game, long flight is a good time for a break for a lot of guys.

Yeah, we gotta trade pitchers for bats said all the TD talking heads 2 days ago. That has aged like warm bud light.

I don't think that's an accurate conclusion as this series has been against a bottom 3 pitching staff, if they keep this up against playoff teams, then I will agree.

C'mon, really?    A minor league stadium caused Correa to slip and hurt his back?  Plain, and simple, he's injury prone.  Stop making excuses.

Exactly, he wears a heating pad around his back between innings in every game he plays  -  I too thought “the park” didn’t have much to do with any issues of CC.

One random thought - I would not sit Wallner no matter who is pitching.

Agreed. But Larnach should never see a LHP (except a low leverage reliever).

It’s got little to nothing to do with the big scores and wins over the A’s & their non-existent rotation/PEN…….Lopez is out through August and Paddack could go down any day…….Ryan hasn’t pitched an entire season that I can recall……Thus, keep the pitching depth!!…..that’s the point, IMO.

For all the A's faults (and there are many), they are a pretty good hitting ballclub. Among the 30 MLB teams, they are 6th in total bases, 7th in home runs, and 8th in batting average and OPS. The top of their order last night had OPS's of .797, .904, .795, and .805. That's not too bad.

Those 4 OPS would look fantastic anywhere in a daily TC order

I am looking forward to Festa's return - not Pablo's absence.  This not moves us down the list is SWR next in line?  Where is Morris - his era is over 4 in AAA (Raya and Lewis have not had good seasons so far)?  Can someone give me the next three?   Is Adams ready? Does someone in Wichita look ready?  Their stats are very good.

Bader and France and Clemens have really been good pickups - of the three I think Bader has the staying power.  I love the way he plays and the enthusiasm he shows.  Still wondering why Bride is on the roster, but otherwise the team is going great and WIlli Castro is competing for team MVP again.

Can’t play him & take Larnach out of the line-up v. probable LH pitching - Bader & Buxton in OF with Jeffers at DH ……….ALL seemed to work out pretty well - right?………can’t start 11 hitters, so my slant is take the success and run.

Pitching Festa today because they want Ober,Ryan and Paddock for the Blue Jay's.

It was his turn in St Paul yesterday so it fits his rhythm & it gets the other 3 an extra day of rest……….that too.

The series with the Blue Jays always concerns me.  It seems the entire city of Winnipeg travels down to the TC for the series and it's about 1/2 Blue Jays and 1/2 Twins fans.  Maybe that explains why Festa is pitching today instead of on Friday as now we have our best (remaining) pitchers going for the Toronto series.

Gotta sell those tickets

Wallner just came back from a significant injury. Did we expect he was going to play every day upon return? I don’t think he even played back to back days in the field during rehab which is often part of the progression.

Canadian travel to the USA has plummeted. Should be plenty of tickets available for Twins fans.

The A's series is better for Lewis rather than being sent down to AAA. Hope it'll be enough. Bummer Lopez is gone for around 8-12 weeks, it'll be tough to replace his leadership. Hope SWR, Festa & Zebby can step up. The 1st 2 series were disappointing, but they are doing what needed to be done to the A's. A sweep will take the bitter taste out of my mouth.

I'm not concerned about our offense, but I'm concerned about some of our players petering out towards the end of the season.

I am okay with that but I take Wallner over Jeffers at DH.

Fun fact: the population of the city of Winnipeg (783,000) is greater than the combined populations of the cities of Minneapolis (425,000) and St. Paul (304,000).

Yeah, we face alot of bad mlb pitching so is it really necessary to send guys down to get them locked in at the plate. Once we get C4 and Lewis hitting like Buck, do we really need to trade pitching for more hitting?

Yeah, but they're called the Minnesota Twins, not the Minnesota MSA.

No chance they're trading any pitching for hitting after the Lopez news.

After today, we might consider signing Paddack to a 4/5 yr extension deal for $60+M
