The ageless Dick Mountain aka Rich Hill will join his 14th major league team--the Royals. He will probably be the oldest player to suit up for a major league team this year (45 years old). Hill worked 38.2 innings for the 2020 Twins.

The Littell trade invovled the Rays sending Ben Rortvedt to the Dodgers, so it's another former Twin on the move.

Kepler 0-2, dropping his average to .203

Bader pinch-hit for Kepler, getting a walk and scoring a run as the Phillies came from behind. Struck out in second at-bat.

Duran threw 4 pitches, all strikes, and got the save. Credited with the greatest entry spectacle in Philly history, per The Athletic.

The Tigers owe Maeda virtually all of that money, since they released him. The Yankees only pay him the minimum while he is on their roster (or presumably the AAA minimum while he is down there).

Agreed. Though I think there was going to be another prospect added to that deal from the Dodgers. Original report said Outman and more. Then we had the 2.5 hour delay before it was finalized. Which leads me to believe Stewart’s medical report is so bad, they took the other prospect off the trade.

Another win for Joey Wentz starting for Atlanta yesterday. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 1 run and 4 hits, but also walking 3 batters.  Not lights out, but he's pitching much better for the Braves this past month. If memory serves, he was horrible during his brief stint with the Twins. Baseball is such a weird game.
