I don't necessarily disagree with that.  However, if the Pohlads want to avoid a possible mutiny by players and fans alike, they might think they don't have a real choice in the matter.

Topa and Desclafani have failed to throw a pitch in a Twins uniform this season.

Polanco was my favorite Twins player for the last two or three years.  I miss him and his positive effect on the other guys on the team.

I understand why everyone is angry considering the historic collapse, but the twins were not going in to the Bronx and winning a series. They weren’t going to Cleveland and winning a best of 5 or 7. Houston too for that matter. I’ve seen enough playoff losses. The twins should come back when they’re serious about being a contender. We would be the blue jays of this postseason.
