Every reliever we face Morneau makes them sound like they are all the next Mariano Rivera.  Other teams are hitting these guys, maybe not all the Cleveland pitchers but come on quit making excuses.  Yes pitchers have more movement but batters are also seeing it more and adjusting to it.  Morneau makes it sound like the batters don't even have a chance against every pitcher.

Honestly, I have to hand it to the broadcasters at the end of seasons like this. They're certainly as frustrated as the fans, yet have way more self control to bite their tongues and try to throw sugar on the spoonful of horse crap they're forced to feed everyone. I couldn't do it, even for a paycheck.

They're being paid to bite their tongue.

This is absolutely hysterical. They can't even score runs against a team staring 100 losses in the eye. Nothing has changed. The guys are dead.

Meanwhile O's are busy blowing their 4-1 lead against Yankees. And Judge has homered. When teams are in a trough, they literally find or make up ways to lose games. This season sort of needs to be over.

Saved money ,doesn't Descalfini make 12 million. Don't think money was kicked in by Seattle?

No, I looked back on the MLB.COM article. It stated "Minnesota received $8 million in the trade and shed Polanco’s salary"
