Irishman Verified Member Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 Twins is finished. Biggest twin plop this month. Looks like they don’t want to be in playoff. Very disappointing!

insagt1 Verified Member Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 I doubt there is any way in hell that Twins can catch either KC or Detroit with 5 games left. They are dead as doornails. Did anyone see any energy out there...seriously. Once they got down by 4 early, they packed it in. Getting leadoff men on didn't mean a thing. I thought, wrongly, that Twins WOULD snap out of it tonite. They didn't come close. A TOTAL team shutdown. 10 left on base. Ah, can't keep repeating the same old crap. The choke is just about accomplished and heads should roll. IndyTwinsFan 1

I'm not spending any more money this year on Twins and I had opportunity for tix, Saturday, good seats. I forgot tonight was dog night. They cordoned off grass area outside for dog toilet. Leaving game before 8th inning someone had a dog peeing all over the concourse. Twins should not have dogs at games, it's gross and unsanitary with all the food stands everywhere. Don't care they are segregated to home run porch, not a fan. I should have asked for a refund. Only thing was worth it was the 1 dollar hot dogs. Not a fun way to end a season. Twins players don't want to play anymore games. Friend asked me to split a 20 game package again. I'm out, you can tell Pohlads will cut payroll again, they are tone deaf. IndyTwinsFan 1

Agree completely. That would hit ownership where it hurts the most, right in the pocketbook. But would even that force a positive change? I'm not so sure.

Twins_Fan_in_NJ Verified Member Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 This team's quit on the manager. The lifeless faces in the dugout are a giant flashing neon sign. If Rocco's back, we might as well hop in a time machine and go back to the 2021 season.
