I wanted Festa in the 7th and was shocked to see him.  The pitches to Ozuna were competitive, he didn't chase, he's a professional hitter.  OK, not the worst to walk their big power guy.  Roll the dic

You can see the lack of execution before it happens. Twins have 4th highest ERA in bullpen right now. Nothing is going right. I hate this negative situation.

Why not? One pitch can be a double play! Not great, but.....

Thielbar to wreck the game. Baldelli's Nick Punto. Or is that Farmer. Theilbar to potentially give the loss to Festa. He earned at least the next batter with the game pitched and only 88 pitches.

The Twins have chosen their position players throughout their system primarily for production from the plate. Only Santana (Buck & C4 are out) is average or above. The problem is that the bats are not scoring and the gloves are giving up runs. This is an organizational philosophy.

Well like I said...shocked he sent Festa out for the 7th.

He was hit hard in the 6th. He hadn't thrown a single pitch in even the 6th inning yet this season. Hadn't thrown more than 82 pitches in a game. 

Just a curious decision that immediately backfired.

Not to excuse Thielbar, but I think you gotta take what you got from Festa and have a reliever start the 7th
