I wanted Festa in the 7th and was shocked to see him.  The pitches to Ozuna were competitive, he didn't chase, he's a professional hitter.  OK, not the worst to walk their big power guy.  Roll the dic

Well, we disagree that innings is more important than pitch count. But we will never know how he would have done. We do know that Thielbar offered absolutely no relief, gave the kid an earned run gift, as well as a loss. The perfect teammate. His old tired arm can throw every day. And worse results.

I'm pretty sure he wasn't comparing himself with Rivera. He's basically saying it happens to the best sometimes too.

Another bullpen disaster as well as the usual k-parade. Can we just agree that Thielbar's days are over. He has company for sure but he just doesn't have it anymore. Somethings are very wrong with Twins right now..top to bottom. They need their key guys back but that isn't happening. Team looks tired. The AB"S are weak. The k's beyond aggravating. There is no imagination in their plate approach. But most everything is broken at the moment so I guess that's all I've got.

Well, he could have said the same thing without the Rivera reference. He didn't use Thielbar, for instance 😇 Unfortunately, it is happening pretty often lately for Duran. And giving himself the whole year is...... well..... kind of depressing. Aw shucks.

The amount of contact batters get is even more depressing. Even if he gets the out, the hitters and making great contact throughout the at bats. At Jeffers and Vazquez keep calling the breaking stuff that is getting tattooed. Very unfortunate.

His whole year has been off as compared to last year. He's still been good. Just not AS good

IDK…they did a good job tonight of pulling together to make Tommy Watkins feel better about himself. If empathy is a postseason tiebreaker…

But, and however,  if Rocco should say something like gaddummit or byjesus, once in awhile in his postgame speech….duck your head!

I thinks the thumbs down is misinterpreted.

It is defined on TD as, I think but can't find where I read it - the info was on this site - a disagreement. To express that you disagree. One can disagree without explaining why. Sometimes it is very evident. I think people sometimes take it as an affront, and personal, but by definition, perhaps, it really isn't.

I'd add that team morale appears to be virtually nonexistent, to boot.
