Perez sometimes benefits from opposing players over swinging because he is hittable. Since being traded to San Diego, Perez has been much tougher to hit. I'm going to suggest the Twins use patience and drive the ball through the middle tonight in an attempt to see Perez revert to his June and July outings.

But 3 of the 5 were alleged PED users.....

He did have 9.8 bWAR that season, more than any player in either league. But that was before baseball got overly geeky, er, inclined to use metrics to value a player instead of using counting stats.
