Why is Santana in the lineup over Lewis.  Both Lewis and Miranda need to be in the lineup.  Play Santana against LH pitching only.

Bellinger beats a good throw to first, Lee should have just held the ball. However, Lee didn't serve up the HR, Pablo did. 

Martin misplayed an out into a triple allowing a run to score, which was then followed by a wild pitch allowing another run to score. Should still be 3-2 at this point. And I say 3-2 because Kepler should have thrown Busch out at he plate, that throw was horrible, especially from 120 feet.

Vazquez's HR would have tied the game and Dobnak would not have been out there for the 8th to give up another run.

Little mistakes snowballed what should have been a tie game into a 6-2 deficit and Rocco throwing in the towel. This kind of baseball does not play well, if at all, in October.

I don't have a good feeling about today's game.   Hopefully, its just the bad taste I have in my mouth from last night's dud.   I wonder if Buxton feels he's able to play, or if he's seriously injured?

But roster construction is flawed:

The back-end of the BP can't be trusted in close games

Extended absences from Correa or Buxton greatly weaken the defense, even with the ability of players to play multiple positions. You don't band-aids at SS and CF.

Situational awareness rears its ugly head both in the field and on the bases more often than it should.

So far the team is talented enough to overcome the bad games, but using players out of position could catch up to them sooner rather than later.

He doesn't choose the roster. I blame teh FO for not playing Martin more in the OF in the minors, no chance he was going to be a SS. Zero. Zero. 

We have no idea how nicked up anyone is right now....

Castro in CF, Martin at 2B and Lee at SS makes the most sense in the short-term. Martin's been pretty good in the sample size at 2B including a couple of + plays on Monday night.

What's so weird about it is Rocco was the exact opposite as a player. Hustle and effort all over the place. Can't imagine he'd be okay with getting orange slice days as a player.

Health allowing - down the stretch here, you absolutely can't have a game where Correa, Buxton and Lewis are not playing. Last time I checked, Royce is healthy. He also recently talked about how much he liked being a DH. But, yeah, Rocco wants to give him a rest.

Castro in CF, Martin at 2B and Lee at SS makes the most sense in the short-term  .How Rocco cant see that is a Fire able offense,, he never explains anything about his decisions or why players arent able to play, Santana batting against a r,h, is better than Royce batting, Cmon Rocco how stupid ? how can that be ??  and a rest day Tommorow  makes it even worse,  And why is it wrong to question him ?  might help if he was ever honest with the  fan base,  again WILLI IN C.F. and Lee at S.S. and Martin at 2b,  tell me how the way he wrote this  lineup is better ,  We all want to see Twins Win !!!!!!
