Correa got in one game in against The Giants before the break.

I don't suppose he might be back for a game against the other cautious suitor?

(Of course i prefer him back solidly on both feet, full steam ahead over just bein' back for the sake of not letting the team down... It goes without saying. Also with saying, for the chronically pedantic)

Old style things to think about.

1. What is Met short for? Presuming of course Mets is the plural of Met.

2. Cellars and buyers. Discuss.

3. Folk talk about good pitching and good hitting, but rarely about evil pitching or hitting? Where are the Ty Cobbs of this era?

4. Woods Richardson. Pitching pipeline or cunning Berrios trading acquisition. PS heir apparent to as many letters as possible on one's jersey. Pushing boundaries is important.

5. Parity or parody. Would you prefer each sports team having a legit chance to be champs? Or the musical machinations of the likes of Weird Al.

Hard to think of evil hitters since Rose and Boggs. Maybe AJ, although I don’t think so.

With today’s players it seems more of the bad deeds are done off the field in the real world than during the performance of a game.

As an aside...

It's wild to me how hated Correa is in this area. Might be public enemy #1 for Yankee fans. Wore a Correa shirt in Newark airport last week and was greeted with a handful of hecklers including a TSA agent who said he shouldn't let me through if I'm a Correa fan. The Yanks need to quit crying about 2017 and 2019.

Mets = Metropolitan.                               Buyers beware. Cellars are where the apple representing the Mets are stored.                                                     Evil pitching. Al Hrabosky. Hitting Jose Abreu looked evil.                           Yankees got 1 thing right. No names just numbers. Although they'll soon run out due to retiring every number 1-99. I guess they could use triple numbers.                                                 Parody hands down.

This is one reason it's so hard to compare how teams do over time, and against common opponents, because they just aren't the same team game to game. MLB is quite different than other sports that way, the SP makes such a huge difference. (then there is the whole health thing)

Twins basically eliminated the Tigers yesterday. So the Guards are all over them today. Beau Brisket is getting slow roasted.
