So you have a bunch of your good hitters injured and 5 days off after today and Buxton does not play? Really Rocco? He sits 2 out of the last 3 games.

Someone might want to inform Rocco that we are in a tight race and we can't afford to just give games away. Buxton makes that catch in center and so does Michael A Taylor.

So....Buck can pinch run but not play?

That makes zero sense.

I have about given up on trying to make any sense of the moves that Rocco makes. Who was that guy at short? Bring up Julien and put Brooks Lee at short. Not some retread.

Wow. Buck catches that ball without leaving his feet. And Brooks makes his first bonehead play. The Twins can play some really sloppy baseball at times.

I didn't see Duran backing up third, among other things

I also question sitting Larnach. I understand they were facing a lefty but I think Trevor is more of a threat at the plate than Vazquez, Margot, and most of the rest of todays lineup.

Just another example of Rocco's twisted logic, injuries notwithstanding.

Margot showed in the first inning when he made that catch on the track that he's overmatched in a big outfield like Oracle's.  His routing on every ball he chased today was like the Geico Siri Cha-Cha slide commercial.  #1, don't dive for that ball, you weren't going to get it.  Keep it in front and keep Yaz at 2nd.  Secondly, there either needs to be some smarts or some communication because Lee was never going to get Yaz at 3rd so why even throw that ball?  Duran channeling his inner Severino also didn't help the situation.

So as asked by others, if Bux can run, why can't he play CF?  You put him in for Margot as a defensive replacement and Camargo goes in the leadoff slot.  That's not all that difficult.  Someone in that clubhouse needs to explain that thinking.

As for Camargo, that move really paid dividends this weekend.  He played all of 1/2 inning (those with 'under' tickets can proceed to the window) and the hope of getting Jeffers some rest never happened.

The Mar-goat giveth and the mar-goat taketh away

I kid you not that I texted my son "Manny giveth and Manny taketh away"....LOL

Seriously....has there been a better example of a Manny Margot game????

"I hate you Manny.  You're the worst outfielder i've ever seen.....oh, nice catch Manny, I love you"

"I hate you Manny.  You're the worst hitter I've ever seen". Breaks up perfect game.  "i love you Manny"

Drives in tying run...."I love you Manny".....falls down running to 3rd...."You suck so bad Manny"

Takes ridiculous route and dives at ball in bottom of 9th....."That's it.  I hate you Manny"

LOL

Just another perfect example, of how our manager makes some real questionable bonehead decisions, when it comes to what to do with this team. There's a wtf moment, sometimes several, in every game. It's just maddening to watch at times.

It just does not make any sense how a manager at this level can make so many dense decisions. It's mind boggling.

Seriously no more one games rest of season!!! Why comeback to tie games up only to lose? And yes I’d rather lost 2-0 then go though what happened yesterday. All star break comes at perfect time!!! Teins need to rest up and get healthy/win central division!!!  Correa should skip all star game as well, I will be taking much needed all star break as well. Time for twins to come out in fire and take over division!!!! Enjoy the break!! Everyone!!!
