I kinda like them and I really like that they went with the state concept rather than the city.  They are the Minnesota Twins, not the Minneapolis Twins, or the St Paul Twins.  Which city would you like them to connect to?

Not being connected to a city is kinda their thing, you know, the Twins.  Of the Twin Cities.  Maybe we should call them the metro area connects.

That said, I do not like them this much. Gag.

I honestly would have been fine with Minneapolis specific theme though I've never actually lived in Minneapolis itself.  They have been located in Minneapolis for over 40 years now.

I'm not sensitive about that kind of stuff though some small part of the fan base probably is and the team has obviously tried very hard to stay away from any Minneapolis-specific branding out of deference to that part of the fan base.  I think they could have had fun with it if they went that route though.

While I find the ideas in the uniforms pretty cliched, I don't really dislike how they look.  The ripple effect is a good idea and might look really cool when in action.  I think they are kind of in the mid-range for how they look among other city connects, but certainly not cool enough to justify that kind of price tag.

I think I would have liked them quite a bit with some different color choices. I don't love the blues that were chosen but I can see the logic. I really don't like the yellow. I guess we'll see how they look on the field

Have seen a lot of complaints about these looking like Brewers jerseys, but I see the Minneapolis Lakers, and that should be obvious... That said, I would have gone with a green color instead of yellow. I'd figure out what the loon is eventually, but it's weird. The "MN" logo is better than their new "M". The "10,000 Lakes" on the side of the hat never should have been added. Overall, I give them a "meh." But yeah, make the "MN" the new hat logo for everything instead of the current "M."

Obvious? The Lakers left the Twin Cities prior to the 1960 season. That is going on 65 years ago, 70 if you want to consider being old enough to remember them at all. TBH, I don't think I've even ever seen a Mpls Lakers jersey/shirt of any kind and I've more or less lived here my entire life (I'm 59).

A "city connect" jersey that has the STATE of Minnesota on the hat, an outline of Lake Minnetonka somewhere, and "MN" on the jerseys?

What part of any of this "city connect" jersey is connected to the city of Minneapolis, whose citizens have loyally hosted this team for its entirety?

The designers did not understand the assignment. Just call it an "alternate jersey" if that's what we're going with.

Also: it's really, really bad. There are some bad ones out there and this is definitely in the bottom tier. Uff-da.

Bloomington is not Minneapolis and they hosted the Twins between 1961 and 1981; they moved into the Humpty Dump Downtown for the 1982 season.

Well, I'm 42 and it's obvious to me. If you've never been an NBA fan, I get it. I see Lakers stuff all the time and I'm the same as you as far as living here (I also work downtown a 10 min walk from TC/TF). Is what it is as far as those observations, I guess!

Looks like something the Mariners should be wearing.

Just like the new logo in general, lol. The good 'ol North Star, the one used specifically by maritime navigators... "Mariners" At least the City Connect jerseys feature MN and not just "M"

Can't say I care for the "ripple" effect as it just looks like stripes which aren't even consistent in their direction. Maybe making it look like it was a single piece of fabric rather than scraps sewn together was too expensive?

I was excited about the hat -- been in need of a new Twins hat. But I can't with that garish 10k lakes patch.

The cap logo is amazing, but yeah, why the gaudy 10k lakes patch?

Wait, the star on the loon is supposed to be it's beak?

But the wings... and... did they at least look at pictures of loons?

No one would identify that as a Loon!

Are you seeing "Minneapolis Lakers" stuff", or "LA Lakers" stuff, because TBH, the most non-Wolves NBA team gear you see in prevalence around the cities is still the Bulls, and it isn't even close.

What about when they were in Bloomington at the Old Met? 🤔

Hard to mistake the "MPLS"...

That's a loon on the sleeve patch? That's not supposed to be a loon, is it? It really looks like a manta ray. (I guess it is supposed to be avant garde, but it's a jersey...simpler is better.)

I wish the blues were more vivid., and I think the contrasting color should be green (for trees)

The hat is 'so-so,' but the jersey is 'lame.'

(The rap video is also lame.)

I respect the idea to use elements of Minnesota and the thought that went into the concept ... but frankly I find the uniform and cap design fairly hideous. Urrgghhh!!!

I like all of the specific details in the various aspects of the uniforms...red baseball stitches for the eyes of the loon, the ripples of varying hues of blue coming from different directions in the jersey, the unifying MN, and the wicked logo on the front of the cap.   And no day on the lake is complete without taking time to enjoy a gorgeous sunset.  The colors...they're all there...in varying degrees of subtlety.

It's hard to see the Twins not in red/white/blue. And the blue and yellow remind me too much if the Brewers.

But that being said, the colors themselves, and all the thought and little touches, really do seem to represent the state itself. And isn't that the point they're trying to make? Not just the Twins Cities and not just the Twins, but Minnesota.

It's going to take time seeing my favorite team on those colors. But I applaud the choice to go a very different direction than before, by doing something almost completely unrelated to their traditional looks.

Unto themselves, these uniforms are fresh, detailed, and unique. I love the originality.

If they just didn't have the Nike logo on them, I might like em ..

If you look straight at the center of the City Connect jersey and move your head rapidly in an up-down, nodding motion, the waves actually do ripple, and you can see subliminal pike slowly swimming by from the jersey's left sleeve to the right sleeve.
