Clean slate.

You can learn from the last game if you need to, and that's probably a good idea, but the game is 0-0 to start, and what matters is what you do this game.

Alas, i am not playing, but i can root for the Twins, and that's something.

Here's to hoping folk find their swings, and hit there spots. Beyond that, let's see what happens.

If we must lose, let us lose in new and interesting fashion.

And a witty retort here and there will be welcome.

I'd be happy with a hint of a hint of progress today.. as in the great ABs Miranda and Correa had in Houston, even if they don't produce.

I expect Ober will flounder. Is a 5-4 win even possible today?

PS.. I wonder if a longtime veteran presence like a Tony Kemp callup could give some role modeling or focus. Santana has helped guide the team at times this year (Jays). I'd be ok with Kemp up Kirilloff down for awhile..

Great bring up another below average veteran, don't we have enough of those taking up roster space.

What is it?

The new bats the Twins have been swinging lately?

Something from the lab in the opening scenes of It happens every springtime?

Or just something to provoke conversation?

A witty retort.

In a season of bizarre line-ups, this is one of the more bizarre... And no Lewis, again. If he can't play everyday but Castro can, he should still be in AAA.

No Vazquez, Margot.. There is no winning lottery number here.

Maybe today's the day?

I suppose I'll be checking the Twins score often, but I think I'll watch Scheffler win Jack's tourney this afternoon. I'm not real pumped about watching another shutout orchestrated by our Murderer's Row.

I'll be more than happy to eat some crow...if we can score some runs here!

That should squash any complaints about the umpires. All 4 got that one wrong.

There's a great blog about umpiring in Twins Daily this morning. It does confirm a lot of what I suspected.
