Some year the Twins will come out of Spring Training actually looking ready to hit. But not this year apparently. And Wallner, no, you haven’t earned a better strike zone.

Wallner has  , as I write this, a 83 percent strike out rate; I wonder what the record nmber of at bats is for some one having a 100 percent strike out rate to start a season?

The record for most consecutive strikeouts by a non-pitcher is 10 by Rick Ankiel who was a pitcher previously. Until he quit throwing strikes But the best I could find was Evan Gattis had back to back 4 strikeout games in his 2nd and 3rd game as an Astro. He was 0-11 after 3 games with just those 8 consecutive K's
