Baldelli with another dumb move, yet people on here will defend him tooth and nail.

Also. This Dodgers team is gross. I don't like teams that try to purchase championships. They represent the biggest problem with the game today. It's gross watching teams with a clear advantage and their fans celebrate like it's actually a fair fight.

They're the Yankees of the west.

They should have to differ runs that Ohtani scores to a later season.

But friend, where will all the good players go?

If Jax needed work, why didn't he come in when it was 2-2, instead of 4-2?

I would have left Ober in, but you're not going to put Jax in against Freeman and Ohtani when you have two left handers in the pen ready to go. That's pretty much the only reason they're on the team.

I’m probably in the group of people with selective memory and assumed Santana was going to help. Then when I saw him pop up that 3-1 hittable pitch I realized why he was signed (relatively) cheaply. My hope is that he doesn’t suck up too many AB’s ala Joey Gallo before we’re playing AK full time at 1st.

But the batters were Outman, Trammell and Betts ... Seems like the perfect spot for a superior right-hander who needs work.

I don’t think he had too many suitors..

Cory and Justin were dead silent for what seemed like a good 15 seconds. They’ve run out of things to say in game 8 lol

Wallner gets struck out thanks to two strikes called down and in, according to Gameday they are out of the strike zone. I guess that is the new meta to pitching against Wallner... throw balls that will be called strikes for whatever reason.

Corey says Taylor has been a great player for the Dodgers for a long time.  Currently Taylor hitting .048.

Is this going to be a winless first homestand of the season? Yikes

Yeah, that should draw people.

On the verge of going quietly into the night, again.  Apart from the 2-run homer from Margot, I believe we have the awesome total of no runs on one hit, with one walk.  Just awesome, NOT.  And no, the well hit balls that turned into outs were just that, more outs.  That's just desperately trying to find something/anything positive to say.

Disgusting!

You sure they weren't just cussing up a storm and someone hit the delay button?

Agreed. I’d much rather be a fan of a team like the twins where the owners actively try not to win a World Series because saving 30 million is more important

Sad, but oh so true.

Wallner whining about the strike zone while hitting a cool .091. Gotta respect that

Modern day baseball is whining about the umpires strike zone by one side or the other waiting for robo umps to save the day.

Will the robotic umps have finger recognition built in?
