Gallo has a better reach, and a little more experience at the position. However Solano has the range of a middle infielder and has more lateral quickness. Due his decades of playing infield he might read the ball off the bat a bit better than Gallo, who was mostly an outfielder in his younger days. Solano can't reach the occasional too-high throw, but boy he can really dig out the low ones. Interesting. Maybe I am just remembering the errors Solano has made at 1st. Though Fangraphs seem to support Solano being pretty underwhelming at 1st with negative marks across the board. Though Solano is a positive at each other infield position he has played.

Those basement teams can give you fits (as Twins learned against KC...a most improbable 3 game thrashing) Put your best lineup out there and win every game you can. IndyTwinsFan 1
