But when was the last time the Yankees finished last in their division?

Great question. I do not know.

Clearly has to be earlier than 1992. Used to be in a 7 team division, too, so it may be quite a while ago. Divisons have been around since...1969?

Looks like...1966.   10th out of 10 with a 70-89 record.

Wow…I thought they might have finished last in the late 80’s early 90’s…had to have come close…those clubs were bad.

Fun fact: Remember former Twin 2nd baseman Luis Rivas.

Pirates first baseman Alfonso Rivas isn't related to him.

Figures…there are a lot of shores in Central America

1990 was also the closet they have gotten to losing 100 games since they were the Highlanders; they lost 95 games.

Kep's double is the Twins first hit; let's see if Kep can keep his average over 240.

Polo's play and throw at second for the DP, universe apart from what Julien's would look like.

Eh, dunno. That was pretty easy. Good chance Julien makes that play, IMO.

Polanco's throw looked, quick, smooth , easy and dead center on target; with Julien how well the 1st baseman can scoop a throw out of the dirt is a MUST.

Dairy Queen is so underrated… The peanut Buster parfait is undefeated for ice cream treats!

Agree on DQ, but are you kidding? Have you never had a Snickers Blizzard?

Tonight's opponent reminds me of some historical fiction I was reading recently. it was about how William Penn sent for his relatives to join him in the states. His mother's family was attacked by swashbucklers. His mother escaped, but her sisters were kidnapped.

By the Pirates of Penn's aunts.

Should have kept that team in storage.

Pablo's gonna have to be as good as his last couple starts, because it sure looks like the boys aren't getting him any runs.

Pushing 50 pitches to get 9 outs. No runs, but Pablo ain't 'zacly cruisin'.

Done better to throw the pitches instead, imagine.

But i am fine with the score. Gotta watch the replay of Lewis at 3rd.
