RickOShea Verified Member Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 The vindictive part of me, says let ryan go as long as possible. I don't care if it blows up his ERA and other stats. The young man has to learn, he's not just a fastball pitcher.
BeantownTwinsFan Verified Member Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 Is Ryan tipping his pitches or something? Crazy nose dive from the guy that (I think) led MLB in xERA during the first half for a while glunn 1

Althebum82 Verified Member Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 Oh boy. Moran needs to come off of the roster period so that room can be made for Keuchel to start and see if Ryan can find things out working in the bullpen.

Crazy nose dive from the guy that (I think) led MLB in xERA during the first half for a while I think smalley is right, when he mentions that ryan is not getting hitters to chase the high fastball. His slider isn't getting a sharp break, either. 92-94 mph fastballs don't cut it, especially when they're within the heart of the zone. Winston Smith and glunn 2
glunn Community Moderator Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 It seems to me that Ryan is suffering from dead arm syndrome and would benefit from skipping a couple of starts. I was hoping that Keuchel could come up and fill in. wsnydes, Hosken Bombo Disco, srjr19 and 1 other 4

mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 Cleveland rumored for Kuechal, we still have 6 games with them, and we all know how well we hit Lefties,

Azviking101 Verified Member Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 Who else just wants them to lose miserably the rest of the season so we can hear that everyone has been fired? Best overall twins pitching in decades and they’re barely mediocre. Falvey is worse than Terry.
