The walks hurt again.

Julien hit that ball on the nose but right to the third baseman.

I wanted Taylor to run on the first pitch. Munoz is pretty quick to the plate though. Hard day at work for Carlos.

Day off and the Twins need to get it going again.

Polanco and Buxton will be back. Larnach and ??? will be gone. No use to debate Wallner going down this time.

Matt Wallner and Ed Julien cannot be sent down for Buxton and Polanco in the next 48 hours…

I don't want to like this because it has some truth to it, but I feel compelled to like the manner in which it's described.

The options are pretty limited. DFA Joey Gallo or Donnie Barrels. Option Castro, Wallner, or Julien. Roll with a 12 man pitching staff and option Sands or Winder.

I know what I would do. It’s time…

Should have been swept by the M's. Any momentum from the White Sox series: gone. Now it's hoping to fend off Cleveland again.

KC this weekend. I wouldn't fret.

Or should have swept the M's.  3 overly close games.

Failing to close-out a middle-tier AL team doesn't really help the FO case to go all-in at the trade deadline.  Even if we had won today, Seattle would have made only the third team in the AL above .500 that we had a winning record against.  If we somehow manage to get to the postseason we all need to send a fruit basket to KC.

as I originally said,. I hated this game a lot. We always came close but never enough. This was a lousy loss...made more lousy by the way we lost yesterday. Series like this is why Twins may never really get things accomplished this season.

Can't imagine if we can't beat KC now

Now there's the Twins we all know and love!!!    Correa 0 for 5 (I include the weak dribbler he hit to Munoz in the ninth).   What's he making this year?  $35M?   Think of the relief pitching we could've gotten for that!

Sometimes I wonder why I even waste my time....

We wonder the same.

Pet peeve of mine..Rocco's post game. I hate it when managers and coaches make it sound like everything is just fine...after two pretty disheartening losses. He was heaping praises on everyone today like we just whipped their behinds. While I don't expect him to go all Durocher or Tortorella after a loss, soft soaping a pretty ugly game isn't what we want to hear....is it really? Yeah, they 'almost came back', but because the first two pitchers were throwing batting practice, they put themselves in a real tough spot.

If any credit is due, its Winder for eating the innings...but sadly as it turns out the one run he gives up is the deciding run. Anyway, it may just be me, but I don't like a manager who takes losing lightly. You're not going to win 162 games, but your job is to try and not accept defeat. Listening to him this afternoon made the last 2 days worse. OK end of rant. Sorry,
