Probably answered but why sit Buxton?  He had Monday off?  Is this a rest day, get away data (can he play a night then day game)? Get away or give away?

He has been on a roll so why on earth is he sitting today?

They loaded the lineup with lefthanded batters. Buxton might be in later.

I guess Buxton is exhausted for actually having to run or jog a base or two couple times in last 6 days.  Treating him with kid gloves is quite pathetic.  At some point when will the Nick "one year wonder" Gordon experiment get pulled.  No options sure, but at least you can find a buyer that will give you a low level prospect.  Flash Gordon's bulb doesn't shine brightly this year.

Castro while a nice story should be odd man out when Polanco and Farmer are both back on the club and Julien could stay if they move Castro and Gordon.  I know I would. Julien while playing everyday in AAA would be nice, rather have him on bench that can give a jolt into the ball vs other two.  More upside with him

Maeda should be 3-inning long relief BP arm.  Move Ober up and be damn to Maeda's incentives in contract.  It's business and business dictates Relief role

Houck is looking good right now.  Aggressive in the zone he even got squeezed a few times and is still only at about 36 pitches through 3 innings.  I think it is going to be long day for the bats.

Wonderful way to attract free agents, and negotiate deals with incentives in them in the future. Tell players "it's business so damn to your incentives." Team building 101 there.

They gave him every opportunity to start and they lost a year and a half to TJ.  Free agents know its a business too.
